i guess when you're a year old, clothing is optional.heheheheehe, "dimple mitts", hehehehe we've been doing family bike rides when we get the time. a few saturdays ago, we went and cruised around standford for an hour.oscar's got his stunnah shades on! look at these two bike studs! this kid just loves exploring. stanford was great because there was so much space we just let him go for it. he'd get about 30 yards and then start rethinking his great escape...

The Happy Eater

Lately Oscar has been making this funny scrunched up face while smiling. He does it a lot while eating and he has really been eating A LOT recently.

He has also discovered the area that makes him a boy and laughing during bathtime when he finds it...great.

One Small Step For Baby...One Giant Leap for Oscar-kind

Well, Oscar has been pulling out all the stops these past few days...he DEFINITELY took some steps on his own tonight! And by the look on his face, he knew he did it, too! His face just lit up in sheer delight! We'll try and catch it on video soon to share with all of you.

Can you believe the little person below on his first car ride home from the hospital is going to be a full-blown toddler soon? Where did the time go....

A New Trick Up His Sleeve!

Josh and I were just sitting on the couch minding our own business, when all of a sudden...a little baby was suddenly sitting on the couch with us! The little monkey has now added couch climbing to his bag of tricks.

He actually took one step over the weekend, but Josh claims it doesn't count since he didn't witness it with me. He hasn't repeated this miraculous feat again, so maybe it was a figment of my imagination.

4th of july

for his birthday i bought him this really cool baby bike seat that i can use on my road bike! i biked him to daycare last week then rode to work, it was awesome, and i think he liked it too!

One year old!

Our little Oscar is now one! How did that happen so fast? It's true what everyone tells you...it goes by so quickly. A BIG thank you to Gammy, Papa, Grandma Suzie and a surprise visit from Uncle Sam for making Oscar's party so wonderful! Thank you to everyone for helping us celebrate his first birthday!


He got a little shy once everyone started singing Happy Birthday! Most of his cupcake ended up on the floor, which is too bad 'cause if Daddy has his way Oscar won't be getting another taste until his 2nd birthday!
