these are some shots from oscar's holiday photos. marquita and i have been discussing the purpose of the blog since we're both active on facebook. I think it's worth mentioning that while you'll see duplicate images on our facebook pages, this is Oscar's site, not ours, and there will always be more content here.

Playtime

We visited a big playspace near our house with Oscar's buddy over the weekend. It was the perfect place for him to run around since it's been raining so much. Here's some clips of the good times...

he's getting really good at it. i need to bring my bike along just to keep up. we hit all the sweet jumps too.

We're Off to a Great Start!

We had a great cozy Christmas with visits from Gammy, Papa and Uncle Sam. Oscar woke up and didn't really know what to do with all the gifts under the tree. Here he is checking out the goodies...

He got the hang of his new balance bike really quickly and is now an old pro at the park - zooming around so fast that we have to ride our bikes to keep up with him.

Our little boy is growing up and we're officially in the potty training zone. So far it's gone better than I expected. He's far from being diaper-free, but he's doing great. Not sure that you need more detail than that! :-)
He has also become quite the cuddlebug lately and we're not complaining. Josh and I both got non-prompted "i love you"s from him this week - how awesome is that! We're off to a great 2010 and can't wait to see what it brings! Happy New Year everyone!
