This year we celebrated Halloween Karate Kid style! We figured this is probably the last year we can pick what he's going to wear so we had some fun with it, we made him the bully from one of my favorite childhood movies! He's Johnny Lawrence (sweep the leg!) and I'm his Sensei. Mom just keeps everyone in line:)
Before we went out for the real candy-grabbing, we met up with Bowen and his parents. Cowabunga dude!

After that, we headed up to meet Finn and his parents who live in San Francisco. The force is strong in this one.

The weather was perfect!

Portrero had a really cool community halloween going on, all the store-fronts and homes were handing out candy and it was way less hectic than some other places we've been too:)

I'm gonna say he had a good time:)

Boy? Girl?

Oscar's last haircut was a while ago and we haven't been able to see his beautiful eyes since then! He would tilt his little neck up so he could see where he was going...adorable, but we started to feel like neglectful parents. Josh decided to help his son out and trim his bangs tonight...hmm...what do you guys think? (take poll at left). I think it makes oscar look like a cute little girl! Shhh...don't tell josh! :-)

This is me getting attacked by elusive rar monster, he strikes quickly. i managed to get this lockness monster-esque picture off in time:after i was able to dodge the attacks, i captured more detailed proof off his existance. the hat, named the "rar hat" is clearly the source of his demonic power::

Somersaults and Soup

The little one has learned how to do a somersault and loves soup ("thoup" as he pronounces it). We're not sure where he puts all the food he eats because he can really put it away...see for yourself! (be forewarned, this video is a wee bit long)

bubbles

the first time we gave oscar a bubble bath, we made the mistake of giving him fruit scented bubbles. he immediately started scooping up the bubbles and eatting them. who would of thought you'd have to teach a kid the dos and don'ts of how to take a bubble bath? luckily, we're learning...

Oscar 2.0

A two-year old Oscar is definitely very different from "just-a few-months-ago" Oscar. He has such a sense of humor and always says or does things to make us laugh. He also has a "terrible 2" side where he screams and throws things...we don't like that side...no we don't.

Last weekend we went to visit his BFF Nolan. We all had a great time! Thanks guys! Here's some videos from the visit:

It's coffee time guys! (you'll see what that means when you watch the video...and peep how oscar spots a cheerio in front of nolan and totally swipes it! you'd think we never feed him OR that he doesn't even notice his bowl full of snacks right in front of him.)

Lemo's Farm!

A few weeks ago, Gammy, Poppa, Tito and Tita came to visit. What a wonderful excuse to go to Lemo's farm to see some fine farm livin' (indeed!)

Oscar's friend Thomas made a visit to our area, so of course we had to see him. Oscar was in train nirvana!
