KID OF THE DAY!
A while back I submitted oscar's holiday card photo to parents.com and he was selected as a "Kid of the Day"! If you check out their website today (3/15) his picture is on their homepage towards the bottom. In case you don't get the chance to visit the site, here's a screenshot of the momentous event (ha ha)...

catching up to do!
i've bought a new flash for my camera, and a bunch of new software to learn. hopefully these 3 can tide over the grandparents until i can go through the photos from tahoe and Miles' red egg party:) 
this past week marquita's been away for work so it's just been me and oscar and i have to say it's been an absolute blast. we(i) have had so much fun playing with oscar, taking him to the park, showing him how to properly crush beer cans against your forehead, what it means to leave the seat up, and why the microwave is totally suited to drying clothes...so long as they don't have metal in them...well so long as they don't have a LOT of metal in them. we certainly miss momma, but i'll cherish this week forever and look forward to many more :)
